2. Why We Collect It

We collect personal information to: create and maintain your account; publish provider rate cards and profiles; facilitate bookings and payments through Stripe Connect; communicate with you about the service; market RateCards' own products and services (you can unsubscribe at any time); feature public provider profiles on RateCards channels (you can opt out in your account settings); publish de-identified, aggregated rate benchmarks that never identify you; secure the platform and prevent fraud; analyze and improve the product; comply with legal obligations; and — only with your opt-in consent — measure advertising effectiveness. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those necessary to provide the service.

3. Sale & Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you explicitly opt in to Marketing cookies via our cookie banner, and you can opt out at any time via the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.

4. How Long We Keep It

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active plus the period needed for the purposes above, and thereafter only as required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Financial transaction records processed through Stripe are retained by Stripe as required by financial regulations. Criteria and category-level detail are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your Rights

California residents may exercise rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, and limit sensitive personal information via our California Privacy Rights Request form or by emailing privacy@ratecards.app. Full details, including rights for residents of other states, are in our Privacy Policy.
